The BC Vintage Truck Museum is taking a big hit real estate wise. It is part of a trend in this area and North America in general where declining interest and an ageing volunteer pool is leading to closure of more of these museums.

Well that’s depressing. I didn’t even know that museum existed.
Also that Dodge Airflow is amazing

We also have a pretty good museum in Fort Langley, lots of old engines, a few old cars, worth a visit.

“The city is spending $15.7 million to upgrade the Surrey Museum and create a new heritage site on Highway 10 east of downtown Cloverdale. They will remove the 137-year-old town hall from inside the museum building and move it one kilometre to the new heritage site. It will join the historic Anniedale School and a settler’s cabin on the new property.”

The local contarctors will surely love the large amount of upgrade money. The decision making etc should eat fairly large portion of the budget but the contractors should still get +$10M of it.

I have an unneeded desire for a 40s or 50s semi...this is not helping me.
Sad to see a neat little museum like that having trouble though
